Armando is a top showjumping rider and also works as sporting director for the famous Spanish Sunshine Tour jumping with his wife, Teresa, also 5* rider. He was born in Mexico but later relocated to Europe, working in Belgium for Francois Mathy and in Germany with Paul Schockemohle. In 2005 he moved to Spain and obtained Spanish citizenship. He was part of the Spanish team in Milan for the European Championships in 2023 and helped his country qualifying for Paris Olympics 2024.
