As young as talended, Max is part of the new generation of very promising Irish riders with his brother Tom. He already has a quite impressive record for his age. He was individual and Team gold medallist at the European Pony Championships in 2018. With the Junior Under-18 team, he won the Nations Cup in Wierden, Holland and Hagen, Germany in 2021. He was then selected as the youngest member of the winning Ireland senior team in August 2021 in Drammen, Norway. He has competed internationally at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida and at the Sunshine Tour at Vejer de la Frontera.
