Donald is based in Germany at the Dagobertshausen stables of the Pohl family. In 2022, he helped the British team to finish third in the first leg of the Nation Cup Series. In July 2024, he became the fourth member of the Whitaker family to win the Agria King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead.
