Among the French contenders, François-Xavier Boudant will once again line up at one of his favourite events of the season. For the Normandy-based rider, Dinard holds a special place on the calendar thanks to its unique atmosphere, passionate crowd and the iconic pink arena of Val Porée.

"Dinard is always one of the biggest objectives of our season. For us, it's one of the most beautiful events in France. The arena is incredible, the atmosphere is unique and the Mars family does an amazing job making the venue so special. It really is one of the highlights of the year."

Boudant will rely on three horses throughout the week. Nine-year-old Hitot de Riverland will continue his progression at the highest level alongside Gloria des Besnards, a homebred mare bred by his parents, with both horses set to contest the CSI5*. Quercus Van Den Oude Eik will compete in the CSI3*. He has also prepared his horses extensively on grass throughout the season in La Baule (a Rolex Series event), believing there is no better way to approach the unique challenge presented by the Val Porée arena.

"Winning a Rolex Grand Prix would be a dream. These are the most beautiful competitions in the world, with the best riders and the best venues. For us, that's the ultimate goal."

The Boudant family will also be represented in the CSI1*, where François-Xavier's daughter, Jeanne Boudant, will be competing, making the week in Dinard a true family affair for him
