He is based at Allevamento degli Assi in Viterbo, Italy. He runs Garofalo Sporthorses from the facility, where he trains, trades and breeds horses. His father Paolo has worked as a coach at ASD Jumping Club in Naples, Italy. His brother Giampiero has represented Italy in jumping World Cup events. Did Riesenbeck European Championships in 2021 and 2022 World CHampionships in Herning. Represented her country in La Baule 2023 Rolex CSIO.
