Christian Ahlmann is one of the most renowned show jumpers in the world. He claimed the FEI World Cup Final in 2011 with Taloubet Z and triumphed in the prestigious CHIO Aachen Grand Prix in 2014 aboard Codex One.
After overcoming a challenging period, he returned to top form: in December 2023, he earned another victory in Mechelen with Mandato van de Neerheide, his third win at the venue. In January 2025, he added a CSI4*-W Abu Dhabi victory at 1.50m with the same horse, Otterongo Alpha Z. In early July 2025, he competed at the CSIO5* CHIO Aachen Rolex Grand Prix (1.60m), finishing 34th with Dourkhan Hero Z. Since 2010, Ahlmann has accumulated nearly 3,974 international starts and 199 victories.
