Born in Brazil, Eduardo moved to Belgium in 1999. He has since spent time working in Mexico, France and the US. In January 2014 he and Mexican jumper Enrique Gonzalez set up E2 Stables in San Diego, California. The business specialises in horse sales and the development of horses and riders for competition. Eduardo competed in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, representing Brazil. In 2019, he won a team gold medal in the Pan American Games in Peru.
