Erynn is one of the most accomplished Canadian rider and has many times represented her country at the highest level. She started riding at the age of 5 with her parents, David and Sandi Ballard, and started competing a year later. She won her 1st championship in 1998 and then won an individual gold medal the following year at the North American Young Riders Championships. In 2006, Eryyn made her debut at the Spruce Meadows Cup of Nations, where she contributed to Canada's very first victory in this event, and was named "Equestrian Sportswoman of the Year 2006" by Canada Equestrian. Despite a serious fall in 2013, she is back to the highest level and has since represented Canada at the World Equestrian Games in Tyron in 2018, at the Pan American Games in Lima in 2019 or most recently in Herning in 2022. She is among the best riders in the world and proved it again in Omaha this year by finishing in the top 20 of the World Cup Final.
