Francisco Pasquel Vega

Francisco Pasquel Vega mainly competes on the North American circuit and is one of the young Mexican riders regularly competing in CSI events held in Mexico and the United States.

Raised within one of the most influential families in Mexican show jumping, he grew up in an environment entirely dedicated to top-level sport. From an early age, he competed in national and later international competitions, aiming to follow in the footsteps of his father and older brother, both regular members of the Mexican national team.

He represented Mexico in the youth categories at North American championships, notably at the North American Junior and Young Rider Championships in Traverse City in 2021 and again in Williamsburg in 2023.

In recent seasons, Francisco Pasquel Vega has continued his progression on the Mexican senior circuit, with regular appearances at CSI events in Monterrey, Puebla, and Mexico City. He notably competes with Zanbas Di Campalto, the horse with whom he takes part in international competitions at La Silla Equestrian Park, one of the leading show jumping venues in Latin America.

Still at the beginning of his international career, Francisco Pasquel Vega is regarded as one of the most promising young Mexican riders to watch in the coming years.
