Frederic Vernaet is based at the family-run T&L Stables, where he has built his career around producing and developing sport horses, with a particular focus on young horses capable of reaching the highest level.
Over the years, Frederic Vernaet has achieved success with several top horses, including Beijing Z, Dieu Merci van T&L, Jk Horsetrucks Komme II, and more recently Orak d’Hamwyck T&L and Paulus-L. His career reflects his expertise in developing competitive horse-and-rider combinations capable of performing in international classes up to 1.60 m.
Among the highlights of his career are his regular appearances at some of Europe’s biggest competitions, where he has achieved several placings in CSI4* and CSI5* Grand Prix classes. More recently, his partnership with Paulus-L has allowed him to return to the highest level, including an appearance in the 1.60 m Grand Prix of Gothenburg in 2025.
In 2026, he contributed to the success of the Belgian team at the Nations Cup in Lier with Orak d’Hamwyck T&L, producing a double clear round in the 1.50 m competition.
