Gaëtan Joliat

Gaëtan Joliat, born in 2005, is one of Switzerland’s most promising young riders. He mainly competes on the CSI2*, CSI3*, and CSI5* circuits. Trained in Switzerland, he quickly distinguished himself in the youth categories before making the transition to senior competition. He notably represented Switzerland at the Young Rider European Championships, gaining valuable international experience and contributing to the Swiss team’s performances.

On the sporting side, he has already achieved strong results in CSI2* and CSI3* competitions, recording regular placings in classes up to 1.45 m and 1.55 m. Among his notable results is a 2nd-place finish in the CSIO Young Riders Grand Prix in Busto Arsizio in 2025. He has also begun competing at CSI5* level, notably at major events such as Basel, where he has taken part in World Cup classes and 1.60 m competitions with horses such as Just Special VK and Chelsea Z.
