Gudrun Patteet has been competing at the highest level for more than fifteen years, establishing herself through her ability to develop horses and produce them to CSI5* level. Based at Sea Coast Stables in Moerzeke, she now combines top-level competition with the development of young sport horses.
The 2022 season marked one of the highlights of her career when she won the CSI5* Grand Prix of Knokke with Sea Coast Monalisa van't Paradijs, finishing ahead of several of the world's leading riders. Beyond this prestigious victory, Gudrun Patteet has collected numerous Grand Prix wins and podium finishes at CSI3* and CSI4* level.
Selected on several occasions for the Belgian team in FEI Nations Cup competitions, she has also built a strong reputation for producing young horses. In 2018, she notably claimed the bronze medal at the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses with Sea Coast Crystal de Leau, further confirming her talent for developing future top-level horses.
