Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen comes from one of the most iconic families in Norwegian equestrian sport. The son of Olympic rider Geir Gulliksen, he grew up in a high-performance environment and has gradually established himself as one of the leading figures of Norway’s new generation of show jumpers.

After achieving success in the youth categories, including appearances at the Young Rider European Championships, he quickly moved onto the senior international circuit. He regularly represents Norway in Nations Cups and major international events, becoming an important member of the national team.

His leading horse in recent years has been Equine America Harwich VDL, with whom he has reached the highest level of the sport. The partnership competed at the 2023 European Show Jumping Championships, finishing 19th individually, and again at the 2025 European Show Jumping Championships, where they placed 20th individually. They also competed at the 2026 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final, finishing 28th in the individual standings.

On the international circuit, Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen has achieved several major CSI5* results, including a 12th-place finish in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Mexico with Harwich VDL, as well as numerous placings in 1.50 m and 1.60 m classes. He has also won several international Grand Prix competitions, including the CSI2* Grand Prix of Drammen in 2024 with Lolita ES.
