Kristen Vanderveen

Kristen Vanderveen has established herself as one of the leading figures in American show jumping. She owns and operates Bull Run Jumpers, the family business she has managed since the age of 18, first in Virginia and now in Florida.

Her rise to the highest level has been built with several outstanding horses, including Bull Run's Faustino de Tili, Bull Run's Prince of Peace, and, more recently, Bull Run's Jireh, whom she has ridden since the age of seven and developed herself to the sport’s highest level. The pair has enjoyed a remarkable rise in recent seasons and, as of July 2026, they remain the world's leading horse-and-rider combination in the FEI Combination Ranking, a distinction that rewards consistency at the highest level of international competition.

Among the highlights of her career are three appearances at the FEI Jumping World Cup Final. After competing in Parisin 2018 with Bull Run's Faustino de Tili and in Leipzig in 2022 with Bull Run's Prince of Peace, she recorded her best result by finishing 19th at the Final in Basel in 2025 with Bull Run's Jireh.

A consistent performer on the CSI5* circuit, Kristen Vanderveen has won several prestigious Grand Prix classes, including the CSI5* Grand Prix at the Doha Equestrian Tour in 2026, one of the biggest victories of her career. She has also enjoyed success on the Major League Show Jumping circuit and has collected top placings at some of the sport’s premier events in Wellington, Spruce Meadows, Traverse City, and Washington.
