Laura Baaring Kjaergaard is part of the new generation of rising Scandinavian show jumping talent. Trained in Denmark, she quickly stood out in the youth categories before gradually establishing herself on the international senior circuit.
She represented Denmark at the Young Rider European Championships, notably competing at the championships in Vilamoura in 2021 with Fidelius G and in Oliva in 2022 with First Lady G, where the Danish team finished in 9th place. These experiences allowed her to gain valuable international experience before making the full transition to senior competition.
Highly active on the European circuit, Laura Baaring Kjaergaard has achieved numerous placings in CSI2*, CSI3*, and CSI5* competitions with horses such as Guppie VDL, Quino P, and King Valentino Z. She competes in classes up to 1.50 m and 1.60 m level, notably on the circuits of Kronenberg, Amsterdam, and at Denmark’s leading international events.
Among her notable performances was her participation in the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses 2022 with Obora's Laura, where she finished among the leading combinations in the seven-year-old category. More recently, she was selected for the Danish team at the Nations Cup in Martofte with Guppie VDL, contributing to Denmark's victory on home soil.
