Laura Kraut is a member of the U.S. show jumping team, a seasoned international competitor and an Olympic champion. Her successful international show jumping career gives her a wealth of knowledge and the ability to coach juniors and amateurs to the highest level of global competition. Her competition resume is significant as she represented the United States at the Olympic Games, winning team silver in Tokyo in 2020 and winning a gold medal in Beijing in 2008. Kraut was a member of the gold medal WEG Team in Tryon in 2018, and a member of the silver medal WEG team at Aachen in 2006. This Summer in Paris 2024 Olympics, she won the silver medal with the Unted States Team ! Laura's resume also includes numerous World Cup Finals and several Nation’s Cup teams, with more than 100 grand prix wins!
In 2025, Laura Kraut enjoyed an excellent season, particularly in the Rolex Series. At Wellington, she secured a brilliant 2nd place behind Christian Kukuk, followed by an emotional victory in Dublin, where she was the only rider to produce a clear round in the Grand Prix — celebrating the moment in her husband Nick Skelton’s arms. With several victories and podium finishes in Nations Cups, Laura continues to be a key figure for her team, bringing invaluable experience and composure in high-pressure situations.
