Lisa Nooren-Garofalo is the daughter of Henk Nooren, the former Dutch international rider, team gold medallist at the 1977 European Championships, and Olympic competitor. Growing up in an environment dedicated to elite sport, she was regarded from an early age as one of the Netherlands' most promising young show jumpers.
Her international career began with outstanding success in the youth ranks. In 2014, she won the team gold medal at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics with For The Sun. Two years later, she claimed both individual and team silver medals at the 2016 European Junior Championships with VDL Groep Sabech d'Ha, confirming her status as one of Europe's leading young riders.
In recent seasons, Lisa Nooren-Garofalo has returned to the highest level of the sport, regularly competing in CSI5* events and classes up to 1.60 m. With Scuderia 1918 Grand Prix, she notably competed in the CSIO5* 1.60 m Grand Prix of Rotterdam, while with Lewis Pk she has achieved several placings in international 1.45 m and 1.50 m classes.
