Amoung the best rider in the World of Showjumping, Max is also an accomplished business man and a very commited sport man who has served as a riders' spokesperson for the International Equestrian Federation. Currently based in Germany where he established MK Sporthorses in Starnberg, he previously represented Germany at international level, but switched to compete for Austria at the beginning of 2015. ""For a long time we have had a residence in Austria. As a child I started riding at Reitsportzentrum Mauring together with [Austrian jumper] Julia Kayser. In addition, with me living in Bavaria [Germany], Austria is closer than northern Germany."" (noellefloyd.com, 15 Dec 2014). His records is incredibly impressive, with several particpation in the Top Ten Final and winning S'Hertogensbosh Rolex Grand Prix in 2021.
