More recently, in July 2025, he made a strong impression by winning the Puissance at CSI Ommen, as the only rider to clear a wall of 2.16 m without fault, riding CC Unesco.
Mike van Olst is a reliable, consistent Belgian rider who delivers strong performances up to 1.50 m level, capable of excelling both in Grand Prix classes and puissance competitions.
