Olivier Robert

  • France France

Originally from Amiens, Olivier Robert discovered horse riding at an early age. His meeting with Dominique Bentejac was to prove decisive, taking him to the United States, where he spent two years. Back in France, in his beloved Bordeaux region, the Tricolore opened a kitchen store in Libourne, before selling it a few years later, caught up by his passion and some excellent horses. He settled near Bazas and pursued his career, crossing paths with several stars along the way, including Olala du Buissy and, more recently, Eros, Tempo de Paban and the late Quenelle du Py. A great defender of the Anglo-Arab breed, Olivier's finest sporting hours were spent with the Selle Français Vivaldi des Meneaux, who opened the doors to the French national team and, above all, won his first 5* Grand Prix in Madrid in 2021, and Vangog du Mas Garnier. Often very demanding of himself, the rider from Aquitaine is well and truly part of the elite of his sport.
