Roger-Yves Bost was nicknamed “Bosty” by his father at an early age.
He was born on October 21, 1965 in the Ile-de-France region & quickly discovered his passion for horses at his parents’ stud farm, the Haras de Brulys, in Saint-Martin-en-Bière, where he now lives with his family.
He started riding ponies in competition at the age of 8. Very talented, he was twice crowned French Pony Champion, and won the silver medal at the European Championships at the age of 12 in Le Touquet. Bosty starts his career on horseback and successes follow one another…
He is a true legend of Equestrian Sport and a pillar of the French team since decades now, we cannot list all his achievements but among others he was Olympic Team Champion in Rio in 2016 and keep performing each week at the highest level of the sport.
