One of Ireland’s brightest prospects, Seamus Hughes Kennedy grew up surrounded by horses and quickly rose through the youth ranks. In 2023, he pulled off a rare double at the Young Rider Europeans — gold individually and with the team. A member of the Young Riders Academy, he now competes in CSI5* events with growing confidence. In 2025, he continued to make his mark internationally, winning a Nations Cup with Ireland at La Baule, finishing 4th in the Grand Prix at Piazza di Siena in Rome, a Rolex Series event, and placing 5th individually and 4th with the team at the European Championships in A Coruña. With his composed riding style and strong foundation, he remains a name to watch in the years ahead.
