Wilm is a top showjumping rider, hardworking, disctete and in love with his horses, the Belgian doesn't make much noise... except when his successes speak for him. Immersed in the equestrian world at a young age, his experience with Luc Tilleman propelled him into the big time. There, he crossed paths with a certain Toulon, his very own 'super star'. But Toulon is not the only stallion to have passed through his saddle: Gancia de Muze and First Class van Eeckelghem, to name but a few, have also done so. After ten years with Luc Tilleman, Wilm Vermeir set up on his own and built up his business step by step. Very close to his family, the Red Devil has passed on his passion to his daughter Robin, who is a very competitive pony rider. In the course of his fine career, divided between the very highest level and training the younger generation, Wilm Vermeir has relied in particular on the excellent Iq van het Steentje, bred by his family, and Joyride S. Both are sons of... Toulon. In December 2022,he won his second 5* Grand Prix and his first World Cup event on home soil in Mechelen. A few months later, he finally represented Belgium in a major championship, at the European Championships in Milanand was voted Athlete of the Year at the Belgian Equigala 2024 ceremony.
