Petronella Anderssonmade a strong comeback with a clean round after an unlucky four faults at the water in round one.
Peder Fredricson and Alcapone des Carmille posted two solid rounds, both with four faults, but their scores were not needed as only the top three scores counted.
The USA kept the pressure high with a double clear from Spencer Smith (HHS Seattle), while Billy Twomey continued his form with a second clear for Ireland. But the Swedish team, fueled by the roaring home crowd, edged ahead with consistency and precision — sealing an emotional and well-deserved victory.
