He is based at Stal Philippaerts in Oudsbergen, Belgium. Very strong family roots in the Sport, son of the top Belgian show jumper Ludo Philippaerts, both competing with his twin brothers since their childhood as pony, Junior and Young Rider. Nicola is the Youngest rider in the world who ever won the Spruce Meadows Rolex Grand Prix in 2012, and it was just the beginning of a very successful sport career.
