Dublin will welcome the Rolex Series to celebrate the RDS Dublin Horse Show

The iconic RDS Dublin Horse Show, part of the prestigious Rolex Series, is set to take place from August 14 to 18 at the RDS Showgrounds, nestled in the heart of Dublin, Ireland. As one of Ireland's most anticipated sporting, social, and family events, the RDS Dublin Horse Show attracts over 110,000 visitors each year from across Ireland and beyond.

With nearly 150 years of rich history, this 5-star equestrian event celebrates Ireland's deep-rooted connection with the horse. The show not only showcases the pinnacle of sport horse breeding but also nurtures future equestrian stars and promotes show jumping to the highest standards globally.

The highlight of this year's event is the much-anticipated Rolex Grand Prix, set to take place on Sunday, August 18, in the RDS Main Arena. The Rolex Grand Prix of Ireland, renowned for its world-class grass competition track, has been a fixture since 1934 and boasts a storied legacy. Equestrian legends such as Eddie Macken, John and Michael Whitaker, Nick Skelton, Jessica Kuerten, Lauren Hough, Bertram Allen, and Kent Farrington have all left their mark on this prestigious competition.

The RDS is a social impact organization dedicated to inspiring, enabling, and promoting positive change. Through the RDS Foundation, it offers programs, scholarships, and activities throughout Ireland, with equestrianism being one of its five priority areas. The RDS Dublin Horse Show is the flagship event of the RDS Foundation program, embodying its mission and values.

For me, Dublin is the highlight of the year, the 'Mecca' of show jumping for an Irish rider. Whether you're a young rider or an international competitor like me, Dublin remains the event not to be missed. I’m really excited to return next week. Dublin is more important than all the other shows. Even though I compete every week, this one is special. I’ve selected my two best horses, Lady Amaro and Django, for this event, and I’m confident. My ultimate goal is to win the Dublin Grand Prix, a dream I’ve had since I was a child... So I hope this will be the year!

It was my first time in Dublin and it was incredible. I was privileged to win the Grand Prix 5* title in 2023, the best of my career, in front of a passionate and incredible Irish public. The atmosphere is fantastic.

Mark your calendars and join us for the Rolex Grand Prix, the must-see event of the year and the highlight of the Rolex Series. Experience the excitement and magic of equestrian sport at its finest.
