The Brussels Stephex Masters, one of Belgium's most anticipated equestrian events, marks its tenth anniversary at the end of August. This year, for the first time as part of the prestigious Rolex Series, the event is set to draw horse lovers, sports enthusiasts, and guests seeking a unique atmosphere. From August 28 to September 1, the Brussels Stephex Masters will welcome 200 international riders and an estimated 40,000 visitors.
The highlight of the event will be the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi, scheduled for Sunday, September 1, at 2 PM. Esteemed riders such as Kent Farrington, Jessica Springsteen, Marcus Ehning, and Peder Fredricson are among those who have already left their mark on this prestigious competition. The top performers in the CSIO5* 1.50m classes on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will earn their spot in the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi. Additionally, the legendary Henders & Hazel CSIO5* Nations' Cup will see the top 24 individual pairs qualify for the weekend’s grand finale.
The event will host the world’s elite show jumpers, including several Top 10 riders. World number one Henrik von Eckermann will be competing alongside Martin Fuchs, Steve Guerdat, Kevin Staut, Scott Brash, Ben Maher, Harrie Smolders, Peder Fredricson, and Pius Schwizer, as well as rising star Jeanne Sadran.
Stephex Stables' own riders, including Daniel Deusser, Petronella Andersson, and Kendra Claricia Brinkop, will also be in contention. Representing Belgium, Gregory Wathelet, Olivier Philippaerts, Jérôme Guery, and Pieter Devos will proudly carry the local colors.
On Sunday, September 1, at 2 PM, the 50 riders who qualify for the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi will attempt to dethrone Ben Maher, the reigning champion with Dallas Vegas Batilly.
